This product is intended for the cleaning and disinfection of nonporous hard surfaces in institutional, commercial, and public service facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes, residential care facilities (RCFs), field medical units, military hospitals, medical and dental offices, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. It is also intended for emergency medical services (EMS) equipment and services, diagnostic and surgical instrumentation, high-risk infectious environments, clean rooms, and laboratory hoods.

Rely+On™ PeraSafe™ is suitable for the disinfection of both invasive and non-invasive medical devices (suitable for manual use applications).

Rely+On™ Virkon™ is the preferred disinfectant for routine disinfection of hard surfaces.

Rely+On™ Virkon™
This is a high-level disinfectant for all surfaces, with cleaning action, and has been tested against:

• Over 400 bacterial strains belonging to 80 species;
• More than 60 fungal strains belonging to 20 species;
• Over 10 spore-forming strains belonging to 5 species;
• 4 strains belonging to the Mycobacterium species;
• More than 60 viral strains belonging to 40 viral species.

Additionally, it holds certifications EN 1276, EN 13697, EN 1650, EN 14476, AFNOR NF 72-151, and AFNOR NF 72-171 against bacteria, fungi, viruses, spores, and mycobacteria. It has been approved by both the CDC in Atlanta and the US EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency).
One of the product’s most important features is its non-toxicity and biodegradability, as its main component, potassium peroxymonosulfate, at normal usage concentrations (1%), releases chlorine at 1050 ppm.

Rely+On™ PeraSafe™
Laboratory facilities and equipment can be decontaminated after exposure to or contact with blood samples potentially infected with HIV and hepatitis A, B, and C during analysis. The Rely+On™ PeraSafe™ solution can be used in containers for the decontamination of pipettes and disposable tips.

Rely+On™ PeraSafe™ is effective against strains of Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and other methicillin-resistant gram-positive bacteria.
